I think that any par 3 with water like this needs a drop area. A drop area would keep play moving and stiffs like myself wouldn't keep on hitting balls into the briny deep. Dayton Valley does it right, they have drop areas for the par 3's with water. Don't forget we're returning to Dayton Valley for this year's Daddy Longball.

This Hole Needs A Drop Area
I think that any par 3 with water like this needs a drop area. A drop area would keep play moving and stiffs like myself wouldn't keep on hitting balls into the briny deep. Dayton Valley does it right, they have drop areas for the par 3's with water. Don't forget we're returning to Dayton Valley for this year's Daddy Longball.
