On The Way To Longball

I headed up to Tahoe on Thursday afternoon. The weather held until I got to Tahoe. Here's a couple of shots at Caples Lake, on SH-88. I always take SH-88 to Tahoe. Its a prettier drive than US-50 and there's a lot less traffic.
Our practice round today is at Thunder Canyon, just north of Carson City. A few years ago we had a practice round scheduled here and it was snowed out. I don't know yet about today's round. But, I'm meeting Jeremy, Jerry F and Jimmy B for breakfast at the Red Hut on Kingsbury Grade. So, even if we don't play, the day won't be a total loss.
Besides, the Pirate sponsored Tri Tip feed is at Joint Venture on Rocky Point tonight and that will be a good event to go to as well.
