Our Outing At Poppy Ridge

Poppy Ridge is owned by the members of the NCGA. We're not equity owners, but the NCGA owns the course and we're all members of the NCGA, so in a sense we own the course. It was a windy day in the Livermore Valley, then again what days aren't windy along the foothills towards the Altamont Pass. There was a weak storm front passing through and that kept the temps down and the cool to cold wind up most all of the day.
There are three separate nines at Poppy Ridge, we played the Chardonney 9 and the Zinfandel 9. I don't have a scorecard handy for the name of the third 9. Jeremy G mentioned that he's played this course 4 times and has always played the two nines that we played today.
