I guess the gravitational pull of my big head bends light. Or its shadow is like an eclipse. Anyway, I've known Jimmy B for a while and he's a good guy to play golf with. He's retired from the Mercury and is "looking" for a job to keep him busy.

Nice Houses Along Course

Ruins On Course

Remains of this stone oven were right on the course. You got a free drop if you hit into the ruins.

Very Scenic Golf Course

Though the club has played here in the past, I've never played here at all, even though I lived in Stockton for 10 years. The course winds through a housing development and the fauna is well grown in. I noticed that the grass was in great shape and the greens putted pretty true for us.

Change Of Plans

From what Hime tells us, Trinitas is going into the crapper. Calaveras County is still trying to close the course, due to the owners building the course without the proper permits. The fairways were in not top shape and 8 greens were plugged and sanded just days before we were to play there. So, in a last minute change of plans, Hime got us noon tee times at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp.
