Daddy Longball Money Coming In

Hime reported that there was already checks in the club mailbox. And a number of members gave Hime checks at Bodega Bay. The 48 spots will fill up, so don't delay in getting your money in as soon as you get paid. Write your mortgage or rent, then your car payment, then your fees for Daddy Longball.

Par 3 Winners

A) Moon
B) Mike S. (who had so much to drink that he couldn't make it to the clubhouse and pick up his winnings)
C) Hime
D) Howie A
17) Howie A

Low Putts- Hime 27

I don't have a scorecard in front of me so I can't recall the hole numbers for the par 3's. The scoresheet made it out of the bar before I could get a copy of it.

2) Al C 73

3) Joe S 75 (yes, I really did place 3rd)

Long Drive- Kelly S. When we got to the long drive hole, all 4 members in my group drove past the marker. Only when we got up to the mark did we see that nobody in front of us even drove into the fairway. Kelly had hit his really well.

Moon And Mild Thang

On the tee box at 16 and 17. This is the only course I've played with wooden walkways through the tulares.

More Shots Of The Back Nine

Fog Lifting

By the time we got on the back 9, the fog had lifted some and we could see Bodega Bay itself.

Moon Lashing A Tee Shot

I think this is 13 or 14 on the back. In my observation, the back was more wide open than the front, except for 16 and 17, where you hit over the tules.

Kelly's Prime Form

Here's Kelly hitting off the tee.

Still Gloomy

The course was in pretty good shape, there were not any noticeable dead spots in the fairways. The greens putted fairly slowly for the front nine, but as they dried out they picked up speed on the stimpmeter for the back 9.

Connie, Erin And Myself

Here I am posing with Connie (who is Kelly's gal) and Erin (who is Moon's wife). Its not too often I get to take a picture with pretty gals who aren't running the other way.

1st Tee At Bodega Bay

24 of us came out last Sunday for our outing at Bodega Bay. It was overcast all day but the wind wasn't blowing hardly at all. Here's how gloomy it looked on the first tee.
